Bruce Payne has over 38 years of public accounting experience serving governmental units, nonprofit organizations, closely-held businesses and their shareholders and families. Bruce's areas of concentration include income tax planning and preparation, estate planning, business consulting and auditing and accounting services.

Managing Partner 1987-2004

After working four years for international CPA firms in Chicago, he moved to Kankakee in 1968. Bruce was admitted to partnership in 1973 and was managing partner from 1987-2004. He is a 1963 graduate of Northwestern University with a B.S. degree in accounting. He also has a degree in finance from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management in 1965.

Bruce believes in serving his community. He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Kankakee, the Kankakee Country Club and the Kankakee Area YMCA Board of Directors. He has been chairman of the Finance Committee and Deacon of his church. He is currently chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kankakee Area YMCA and President of the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
